These terms set out the basic rules for using Captain's Words while the product is in MVP, pilot and early-access development.

Using the service
Captain's Words provides literacy practice, learner profiles and progress visibility for families and schools. You agree to use it lawfully and only for children or learners you are authorised to support.
Accounts and access
Parents and school staff are responsible for keeping account access secure. Child and student codes should only be shared with the relevant child, parent, teacher or authorised adult.
Educational support
Captain's Words is a learning support tool. It is not a medical diagnosis, clinical assessment or replacement for specialist advice from teachers, SENCOs, tutors or health professionals.
Payments and subscriptions
Where paid plans are available, payment terms, trials and refunds will be shown at checkout. School pilots or licences may be governed by separate written agreements.
Changes
We may update the product and these terms as Captain's Words develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
These MVP terms are intentionally plain-language and should be legally reviewed before full commercial launch.
